Kaetsu Motomitsu served as the cameraman on CNA Singapore’s documentary "Nuclear Option." His work behind the lens brings a measured, observant eye to the film, capturing both the technical realities and human dimensions of nuclear issues. Through composed framing, careful lighting and unobtrusive camera movement, Motomitsu translates complex subjects into clear, compelling visuals that guide viewers through the documentary’s narrative. His footage balances factual clarity with emotional resonance, helping the documentary convey urgency without sensationalism and enabling audiences to engage thoughtfully with the topic.

Kaetsu Motomitsu was the RTS Swiss Exclusive News cameraman during Swiss Minister Viola Amherd’s visit to the Imperial Palace, where she met Emperor Akihito. He filmed official ceremonies and candid moments inside the palace, giving Swiss viewers full visual coverage of the visit.

Kaetsu Motomitsu served as a local producer for NBC News during the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. He acted as a fixer and coordinated more than 10 documentary stories focused on Japanese culture, history, and traditional sports. He managed and led NBC’s senior journalist Kier Simmons and international film crews, successfully producing high-profile interviews, including one with Japan’s Prime Minister, Yoshihide Suga.

Kaetsu Motomitsu directed and shot the Japan segment of CNA Singapore’s documentary “Space Farmers”. As director, he led international crews in Japan and collaborated closely with CNA’s producer to shape a compelling narrative that met the broadcaster’s exacting standards. In addition to his directorial responsibilities, Kaetsu served as principal cameraman, capturing precise, high‑quality imagery that grounded the film’s visual storytelling.
